Hello there Forestwest :-) I received this lathe a few days ago and I just love the smooth constant power. The unit works great. I thought I may have some balancing stuff or other problems but there is nothing of that nature with this well built machine! Worth every dime. Thank you for putting out such a great product. This is a very well built lathe for the money spent. It is quiet, strong and runs smooth. Belt changing is easy. I would say the only fault would be when removing the face plate the bar fits a little loose in the spindle and slips out. Two wrenches would be better.
